The memorial was completed and opened on June 6, 2000. It is a national patriotism education demonstration base and a Shanghai patriotism education base. The four exhibition halls on the first and second floors basically display pictures, documents, objects and other historical materials of Chen Yunguanghui's life in chronological order. The basement floor is the Qingpu Revolutionary History Exhibition Hall, which also displays the glorious history of Qingpu people's socialist revolution and construction under the leadership of the Communist Party of China in chronological order. The exhibition and exhibition make full use of multimedia, sound, light, electricity and other high-tech display means, and strive to achieve the perfect unity of content and form. The former residence of Chen Yun is located on the north side of the main building. It is an old-fashioned Jiangnan residence with a brick and wood structure, with a total construction area of ​​95.88 square meters.

Comrade Chen Yun is a great proletarian revolutionary, statesman, outstanding Marxist, one of the founders and founders of China's socialist economic construction, an important member of the first generation of the central leadership collective with Comrade Mao Zedong as the core, the party and the The nation's proven leader of excellence. In his more than 70 years of revolutionary career, he has made immortal feats for the liberation of the Chinese people and the cause of socialist construction. Comrade Chen Yun's revolutionary spirit, rich experience and lofty character, as well as his economic thinking, party building thinking and philosophical thinking, are the precious spiritual wealth of our party and people.

In the exhibition area, the party members listened to the life introduction of Comrade Chen Yun and watched the educational video. Comrade Chen Yun put forward six requirements for "How to be a Communist Party Member": first, to strive for communism for life; second, the interests of the revolution are high Thirdly, abide by the party's discipline and strictly guard the party's secrets; fourthly, implement the resolutions with perseverance; fifthly, be a model for the masses; sixthly, study. He strictly demanded himself according to this standard all his life, and in his long revolutionary career, he made outstanding contributions at the critical moment of the Chinese revolution.   

In the exhibition halls of Chen Yun's cultural relics exhibition and anti-corruption theme exhibition of "Serving the People, Pragmatism, and Incorruptibility", the restored models of Chen Yun's study and living room, as well as the various objects and tools used by Chen Yun before him, all made the party members of the branch feel the old one.
